Rates are set on a per hour basis,unless a daily, weekly, or monthly price rate is needed. Below is an example of how the rates for the same project, a 4-panel brouchure, would be calculated for two different clients.

Estimate for Client A: $1000
* Client has testimonials
* Client has previous marketing materials & samples of competitor's work
* Client has marketing/business plan
* Client has done "homework", i.e. stats on target audience, features/benefits of product, analysis of marketplace
* Only one person involved in the approval process

Estimate for Client B: $2000
* No testimonials available, interviews necessary to obtain quotes for media release, etc.
* New product that requires extensive research and gathering competitor samples
* No marketing/business plan written
* Client has not completed homework ( as mentioned above), thereby requiring meetings
in-person (travel/meal/phone fees may apply on an hourly basis)
* Approval is accomplished via committee

Rate for Website Content and SEO Articles: 
$40 - $70 per hour. 

Rates for Press Releases:
$30-$50 per hour

Rates for Copywriting and Editing Services:
$20 – $40 per hour

Rates for Business and Technical Writing: 
$40 - $70 per hour

Rush Fees:
An additional charge of 15 to 30% will be added for projects that require extended working hours beyond normal business hours.
